Guidelines for the Submission of Banner Ads
300x250
WhatTheyThink.com and PrintingNews.com offer a range of units that are both IAB compliant and unique to both sites. The size of the placements should be indicated on the IO. Please contact your sales representative if you have questions about the banners include in your campaign.
Ads must conform to the specifications. All creative is subject to WhatTheyThink approval. Ads not meeting specifications will be returned for revision, which may delay the launch date.
We do not accept Flash-based banners. HTML5 is required for rich media advertising.
3rd-party ad tags are permitted for web site ads only. 3rd-party ad serving must support SSL and be served over HTTPS and must comply with GDPR, CCPA and other developing privacy regulations. We do not accept additional tracking pixels. Ads must be site served or served by an approved vendor. Due to the nature of email deliverability, email newsletter banner units must be served through our ad delivery platform. We outsource our ad delivery to an IAB-certified 3rd-party and campaign statistics are available upon request or on pre-arranged reporting schedule.

Design |
- The (site name) header will cover about 100 pixels of the background image. - The website content is about 972 pixels wide. - The background image will expand and contract with the screen size – as the screen gets smaller the image contracts toward the upper left hand corner and vice versa as it expands. - We recommend not placing any important text on the background image – that should be an extension of your brand. - Important text should be reserved for the companion 300x250 transparent image in the center |
